Homeschooling.
Nothing like I expected.
I'm not pulling my hair out.
I'm actually falling in love with it!
{Rowdy boys working hard}
Benefits.
Quality time with my kids.
Priceless!
I get to raise them.
Teach them right from wrong.
My morals.
My faith.
My knowledge.
My way.
{What is this common core junk?}
I keep it old fashion.
Stress free.
I grade it.
I know it's done.
I know it's corrected.
And done right.
I set the pace.
I set the standards.
I pick the friends.
{Socialization. Never a problem.}
The kids have more time.
Time to be kids.
Time to socialize.
Yes, socialize.
My kids socialize more now.
Especially my eldest.
Instead of homework until dinner.
Dinner then more homework.
Now it's sunshine and fresh air until dinner.
Dinner then more family time.
Schedule.
What schedule?
As much as I thought a "school" schedule was a must.
That didn't last long.
Bye-bye schedule.
Hello life!
{We are reading through the Bible}
Most days go like this…
Wake up.
Morning routines.
Make bed, get dressed, and brush teeth.
Breakfast.
Bible Devotional.
Gym for me.
Playtime for them.
Seat-work.
Lunch.
Lessons.
FREEDOM!
Usually done by 2:30.
Easy peasy.
Absolutely Not!
We have good days.
We have bad days.
We even have ugly days.
Overall.
BLESSED with an A+.
There's some things only a mom can do...
"Train up a child in the way he should go:
and when he is old, he will not depart from it."
Proverbs 22:6
